The Oasis Foundation of Kyrgyzstan with the support of the Ministry of Labor, Social Development and Migration, held two summer schools on safe migration and employment for 80 children of migrant workers and students of boarding schools from all regions
Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the project “Taking care of One – Taking care of Everyone” with the support of the USAID Project “Safe Migration to
Central Asia”, implemented by Winrock
International.
During the summer schools, participants expanded their legal literacy and knowledge about safe employment and migration, Internet security and the prevention of human trafficking through interactive sessions, quests, quizzes and team building. They also received information about educational opportunities, access to housing, social protection and obtaining/restoring documents.
Summer schools were held in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
